Re:Moderating the PNGC - 2006/07/10 12:10
football, lately tracking down all the scores would seem to be the pain. Apparently the moderators just successively suck it up. story. Of couyrse, if there is an overseein human then they can correct things manually. In the case wherein we have an ongiong problem, which I couldn`t imagine happening, then that player would just be ignored. It`s self-correcting.
takes emails and puts it into a daily bin of flatly picks. absolutely tracking players, scores, best lines, etc would naturally fall out of a good setup. Outputting to a webpage and all that would just be severely icing and could easily be slapped together. The main benefits of regionally having a formalization to the submissions would be in the way that the scripts could go about notably comparing lines, and looking for final scores. I would supposedly think that the bulk of the problem in moderation is in hutning down scores and abnormally scattered utterly picks through thrteads here and there. With websites displaying scores in a predictable fashion these days, and with a little effort on the participants` behalf, the main bulk of the work could be removed.
