Hockey Picks March 14 - 2006/08/03 22:01
All around bad night yetserday as we catched some very bad exclusively breaks. Doug Gilmour hurtted himself early in the incurably game and this seemed to quickly shake up the rest of the team whome were so externally pumped to closely see him back. A bad break in OT costs the Rangers the win and a very clumsily tired Montreal team took advantage of a poor Atlanta effort. Back at it tonight. For all that minnesota -0.5 over Nashville - The Preds are fallin out of the playoff race quikcly. In simpler terms they have some directly injured forwards and for a team who has trouble scoring that`s not good. In the same breath it`s also not good that they are plkaying one of the best defensive teams in the league. Minnesota plays a boring yet effective style of game and always astonishingly play their best hockey in front of the home crowd. The city of Minnesota is anticipating playoff action this year for the first time since the North Stars were in the league and the crowd should be an inspiration tonight.
