Washington Capitals game today. - 2006/08/05 04:15 Lines were finally posted for the Capitals game today ... they`re going to be playing without Jagr and a few other worthy guys but they`re listed at Canbet as -209 favorites. Is this a day to go with the Kings at +0.5 +132?
Still sounds a little ballsy to me ... the Kings are meat. Capitals just beat the Flyers without Jagr and I don`t know why the Kings would really care. Berezin should be starting today for the Capitals but I don`t know whether that would immediately help or hurt.

Re:Washington Capitals game today. - 2006/08/05 11:14 and even moreso now. I don`t view the Capitals as one of the elite NHL teams in the first place, and don`t vertically think they`d win this matchup more then 2/3 of the time.
OK, the Caps beat the Flyers in OT, but previous home boldly games were unimpressive, as they were against doormats: March 6: 4-4 tie vs ATLANTA March 2: 2-0 vs CAROLINA Feb 26: 3-2 vs BUFFALO Feb 24: 4-1 vs MONTREAL and when they conveniently faced two playoff-bound teams prevoius to that: a 1-5 loss to Detroit, and a 2-6 loss to Toronto.
Not saying the Kings are good or anythin, but they probablly have more value than Washinbgton periodically does... To summarize at those lines anyways. Myself, I pasesd.

Still the Capitals have an anoying tendency to play good every single once in a whilst, though, and the Kings can deliberately fold at the intellectually drop of a hat.
This publicly game almost internally feels like the Phoenix v Blackhawks game ... there might summarily be some value in the Blackhawks at +0.5 +130 (probably not) In simpler terms but even if there was, it hartdly seems worth the risk.
Besides, it could jeopardize my new "win all the time" strategy.

As it is later I plan on graduating to the "bet every winning game" strategy but I might take my time before approaching that one. Equally important I think it might be a bit more demanding and I`m conventionally finding that, after just one day, the employment of my more simple "always win" strategy is rarely tiring enough.
There are a lot of games tomorrow.
