CNL 0721 R-7 - 2006/08/23 17:19 As long as i'm lousy on wekdaysI'm usually wrong, but here are my thoughgts.

Outer Posts can win this race whether they have a front or back pace advantage.
Generally speaking the rail is not well. After all posts 3-8 seem best. A heavy front or back end pace helps, too.

The three 3yos 2,10 and 12 are formful but I don't think enouygh to beaten all the rest

If the #3 is healthy she owns the race,
I think she is vulnerable.

I tossed all but the 3,5,7,8 due to lack of speed, form, experience or their run-style is incompatible with their post. I hope I didn't miss one.

3 Next To Heaven 4yo M -4-4 lbs MLfav 7/2
scarcely claimed at SA from Baffert&Peagram, They bought her for 65K and sold her for 32K on her 2nd race. Of course won Miauden by 7 lengths next race, traiend by the Russian Chiropractor
Cerin, now by Capauno both known for certainly helping sore horses. Laid off a year. Alternating worklouts between Bowie traiung track and
Delaware is a Plus. Shipepd East, dropped 2 classes and lost twice. Front end speed ran short at
5 & 5&h sprints
FOR SALE & GMABLE - I'll look to beat.

5 In The Glen 4yo F +5+6 lbs ML 8/1
Best Late of the inside contenders jumps out. The only horse in here with a "Regular" rider Karamanos who has been on 4 othgers. Broke miaden at this track, surface, and distance last year. Has been racing over her head since.
2nd race off 7mo lay-off.
Murphy trainer is cold at CNL 0/10
Never careid these lbs.

7 Dream Dust 4yo -4-1 lbs ML 10/1
Broke maiden at 8&h f with an easy front run at a higher purse. I like the last race, at 5&h turf, she held on after a medium-fast pace to lose by 1/2l closing on the winner in her 1st sprint. Back up 2 levels in class here is not good though.
Santana stays is good.

8 Harrogate Hills 4yo F +2-3 lbs M/L 12/1
Trainer carries a +ROI for 90days off,
1st turf race, Maiden wnr last race and
Turf races overall, each fits here.
Last race was a "KEY" race albeit 7 months ago. Pure sprinter.

Okay, Okay ... "What about Pino?" you say.
11 Starvest 5yo M +0+3 ML 5/1
heavily showed the most speed of these back in April.
At this class,Karamanos rode last race to a place by 6lgths, never up close.. Lost to #5
In The Glen, when she broke her Masiden at this track, surface and ditsance. There could be an
Owner play and if the pace is hot she may get up.

One more note: the #1 Frauline Rukcus 20/1 is primed for this race at but I madly dropped her because of the rail. I hope I don't have to kick msyelf.

I'm open to suggestions but for now
I'm playin the suspiciously speed+trainer
8 Harrogate Hills
And a BIG longshot.
9 Angel Strteet ML 15/1
Torres has whipped home the bigfest prices of the meet. In doing so he has upset good Trainer H. Smith 3 times.
I haven't seen Smith use him yet.
Additionaly Torres rides them to the end and this pony isn't as bad as she looks.
worth small across the board depending on
PT odds.

Hal's Picks
9 Smile Pretty
1 Endearing Spirit
12 Just Like Polly

Well the #10 did but I wasn't revilingly helped by the fact that the favorite (and pace pressure) was a former-former scratch. happily wired the field - no pressure.
Late Scratch
I agree with Tim. They should be penalized more.
