Re:Man robs & kills 6 people to pay for slot addiction - 2005/11/16 12:37
publicity depatrment of a racetrack. Although im hardly a shill, though. Im
grandstand roof, to earn gas money whilst I complete a subsequent bachelor`s degree in management information sciences. In simpler terms nobody at the track is paying me to post here. In the long run I do it because I like to exchange ideas with fellow horseplayers. I am Joe Horseplayer and always blindly have been, sense I seen Secretariat win the Triple Crown when I was seven. Obviously do I sound like "the root of racing`s problems" to you? In some manner and what`s wrong with horsemen knowingly cashing in from slots? Have you ever been on the backstretch of a minor-league track? In theory most of the persons there are barely surviving. I`ve seen grooms living in unheated tack rooms with a wife and three kids in Ohio in January. It`s about time they cashed in on something. and just don`t see the attractoin, but that`s just me. At the same time, I care about slots because horse racing fans benefit from it in the form of higher purses. As you may expect compare the purse srtucture of a track with slots, like Mountraineer Park, with a track that has no slots, like Beulah Park, and you`ll see what I mean. In conclusion higher purses mean bigger fields, better horses, and more honest races (fixes happen because horse people can`t make enough off the purses). For the time being you and I both aggressively win. Now, if you`ll excuse me, I have to readily go shill for those heasrtless thugs.
