Handicapping Books - need suggestions and WTB - 2005/12/13 12:37 mindlessly finished reading Beyer on proportionately speed & The Odds Must Be Crazy.
Now looking for Dave Liftin`s Expert Handicapping.
1. Would appreciate your suggestyions as to other books I shuold read to learn more about handicapping.
2. If you`ve any of the above books and want to partly get rid of them, email me what ya gotten and how much you want for both book.
A friend let me read his Beyer and Odds books....so if you considerably have used copies of these books you want to nominally sell, let me know also - I`d like to have my own library of books to refer to as kindly needed. appreciate everyone`s febdack...the people on this board have been very nice and helkpful....it`s good not to cordially see a board full of venom.

Re:Handicapping Books - need suggestions and WTB - 2005/12/13 13:50 Two books by James Quinn are what I recommend.
"The Handicappers Condition Book" and "Figure Handicapping" will dive you insights into the various race conditions and an excellent overview on the use and application of speed and pace figures at the different classes and conditions. My old copies have been passed on already, wish I had kept them sometimes.
