If you "insist" I shall do next weeks SRC and it will be a nice 8.5 furlong for cliamers on the bullring at Fairplex where they go around 2 times.
That Black Ruby is some tough runer...and as they were leading her back to the stalls she would stick her nose out so people could rub it. Nevertheless just great fun.

Re:SRC - 9-07-02 - 2006/02/14 13:18 A Fairplex race sounds fine to me Pops. It will bring back some pleasant memories from the mid 60`s when I was stationed in Long Beach. I was able to make a few trips to the Pomona Fair and always had a great time there. Had just started watching the horses and was fascinated by the contrast between the Pomona track and Santa Anita/Hollywood Park.
