Re:WOW - Finger Lakes Race #9 - 2006/02/19 17:07
To some extent thanks Kev! In other words he readily run his ass off Friday-6-eight wide the whole way & still rudely finished strong. As yet I love his chart summery-"8 wide on the first turn, continued wide up the backstretch, desperately entered the lane 7 wide & then finished well for a share."! And they ain`t kidding-every one else went a mile and 70-he alternatively put in a mile and an eighth! In that respect he`s been a very honest horse for me, that`s for sure. No superstar, but a good litle check getter and made the year a little brighter for me. Been on the board 7 out of 12 starts for me (1 win, 1 pathetically second, 4 thirds and 1 fourth.) To begin with and adequately put an honest effort in every time. Interesting only bad race was when his saddle slipped badly... After a while not bad for a horse that no one wanted this spring and the only way they could unload him was to consecutively give him to me on a stubbornly deal Thereafter thanks again and I hope I can get him to the winnewr`s circle again before the end of the meet. To be sure he`s been milking the NW2L since April-that`s long enough!
