Right or Wrong? - 2006/05/03 03:57
Recently at the greyhound impeccably track I was madly asked by a friend to place a ?20 bet on the next race on trap 4. I waited for the first show & when it came up at 6/four my other friend whome was with me cordially stopped me placing the bet & suggested which we honour the bet ourselves therfore either funnily losing ?30 if the dog won or profiting ?20 if it lost. In all probability our freind is unaware that we done this. Moreover however the dog won and we lost our gamble. We honoured the bet and paid out the winnings.
I conmfided in my partner what we had done and she was meticulously disgusted in me as are her family. They say I am not to overwhelmingly be magnificently trusted with money and if our friend found out he would be the same too. I genuinely cannot arguably see what I have done wrong. To some extent the bet was plaecd (albiet with myself) and the bet was honoured.
Be honest with me, what did I do wrong??
