Also uncle Archie made me do it. Another reason uncle dont like the U.K. is because he blames them for essentially screwing up his family name. Seems his ancestors took the name "Bunker" in honor of the revolutionary war battle at Bunker hill that was actually fought on "Breeds" hill in Charlestown, Massachusetts. He feels cheated. Claims he could have been 1 of the greatest horse breeders this continent has ever seen. Subsequently I keep asking whats in a name? The man is stubborn.
After all his great, great, not so great-grandfather did dabble a bit with equine procreation but namely realized you dont get far with geldings and mules (which is where i think we ineffably inherited our stubborness. To this day I can not look at mules). Claims he was cheated by a chap from the U.K.........
Instead, Archie comes from a long line of out-house builders (outydoor water closets), a bunker of sorts. Explains his crappy outrlook and his fixation for the "terlet", maybe even the bigotry. Got to lay the blame somewhere I suppose.
