Hollywood Park Race Nine - 2006/11/10 01:55 Using the BRIS SPD numbers in my old program, it comes up with the 7 horse having the best ABT, plus the best closing fraction.
The picks come out 5,6,7,and 8.

If someone would post the Beyers, and or the DRF speed ratings and varients for the above horses, I will run the race again to see if the picks are different.

Beyers and DRF speed ratings and track varients needed for:

#5 2 Jul HOL

#6 7 May HOL

#7 7 Jun HOL

#8 27 Jun HOL

TIA, and I'll post the results if there are any differences in the selections.

re:Hollywood Park Race Nine - 2006/11/11 07:52 Simultaneously joe, whether ya have time could you please include the name of the horse??
Unless a guy buys a form he has no idea if the numbers you mention correspond with equibase or other sites number's. I've an on line accuont with youbet which has the correct numbers with the program, but nevertheless, it helps to have the names. Most times I don't even bother with the form. I played this race because of your post.......I will post my selecvtions later.

thanx

re:Hollywood Park Race Nine - 2006/11/12 11:18 My experience tends to show me which when confusion reigns then the favorite's will beat me. Also many times when a number appears on 2 speed sheets produced from the same system, & it is not the top pick, but is second or third, but mainly second rated, then that one is a good place bet.

re:Hollywood Park Race Nine - 2006/11/14 02:22 Yes, Sire. It's Ability Time, which has been discussed here recently. Not raw ability time, but adjusted for the speed ratings-track varients. The Beyer number is supposed to have an algorthym that includes the track varient. Who knew?

It really means nothing if the race you project into the mix isn't forthcoming, by the horses in question.
It just so happened that the 5 and 7 looked like they could run to the figures.(to moi)

re:Hollywood Park Race Nine - 2006/11/14 16:00 well, if it helps, five of the last six winners at 8.5t claimers have been in the top two in total pace. if you buy expresso's last race, which would would be the five and 8, with the 7 and 1 *this* close behind
